Deep packet inspections of all Internet traffic will be become reality if Governments get their way. Proposals in the latest Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) and the International Telecommunications Union conference (WCIT-12) — both of which are currently being held in secrecy behind closed doors, will see the end of our on-line privacy.

Deep packet inspection is the digital equivalent of having your letters opened and read. All of them! That confidential business plan you send an associate will no longer be confidential. Or a private billet-doux to some secret Love? — secret no more.
